How To Get The Most Out Of Your Olive Oil With These Easy Steps

October 04, 2021

Our Olive Oil specialists have provided some amazing tips and tricks on how to buy and taste Olive Oil in the past. However, all this information will not be of any use if you don't know how to properly use Olive Oil.

These are five simple ways that Olive Oil can be used to reap the benefits and enhance the taste.
Olive oil is most useful when used as a refreshing agent

Olives are fruits and Olive oil is stylized when it's brand new. The best olive oil should be used within 18 months to two years of harvest. However, it is best to use the oil in much shorter periods. Olive Oil should be used within one year of harvest on an ideal planet.

This is slightly different once you open a jar full of Olive Oil.

A bottle of olive oil should be used within three to six months.

Don't buy huge bottles you won't use for months. Also, never forget that air and moment can lead to a lack of antioxidants and flavor.

Our Olive Oil Pros recommend that you only use the Olive Oil for a short period of time. It won't be a problem to store olive oil if it is a regular part of your daily food.

Olive oil is the main source of naturally added fat

One of the key characteristics of the Mediterranean diet is the use of olive oil as the main fat source. Even though we consume a lot of olive oils in Greece, scientists have shown that you only need 2-3 tablespoons per day.

Only 1 teaspoon is the average daily amount of sugar consumed in the United States.

They believe it is too much or they can gain weight. You won't gain weight if you eat Olive Oil in a Mediterranean-style diet. This means you will eat mainly vegetables and a small amount of bread.

Olive oil is not just great for salads

Our Olive Oil pros don't just say that olive oil is the main fatty acid, but that it can be used in all types of cooking.

Yes, you can sip olive oil. The smoke tip is high enough to meet home skillet requirements. You won't even reach the smoke stage for Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which is around 4 10 degrees F.

You can lose a little bit of antioxidants by gently sautéing the vegetables, but you can still get all the benefits.

Olive Oil Can't Be Reused

Many people re-use Olive Oil after frying with it. This is a big no-no. This shows that used petroleum won't taste the same or be as clean, and it will also not be as heat-resistant.

While frying or sauteing for the first time with Olive Oil may cause a slight loss of antioxidants, more frequent use than once or twice a week would result in fewer nutrients and better flavor.

Olive Oil Recycling

You should dispose of any olive oil left over after you have used it in a skillet. You should recycle it. If you don't have an alternative, you can use Olive Oil instead. You can also put it in non-recyclable containers and throw it away.

The Olive Oil experts recommend that you do not pour the oil down the drain. Instead, rinse it with warm water. This could cause backups in your drain.
