Help Lower Cancer Cells With Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Help Lower Cancer Cells With Extra Virgin Olive Oil

November 29, 2021

Research has shown that extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO) can kill cancer cells.

Paul Breslin is a nutrition scientist at Rutgers University. David Foster, a biologist and chemist at Hunter College and Onica LeGendre are chemists at Hunter College. Oleocanthal causes cancer cells to die by their own enzymes.

Oleocanthal is a chemical found within Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO). It is also known as 'aloe vera aldehyde'. Oleocanthal is made from olive pulp after it has been crushed and pressed.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains many compounds that have a 6-carbon-ring arrangement. They are collectively called phenolics.

A wide range of inflammations.

Alzheimer's disease.

Formation and development of cancer.

Researchers found that oleocanthal almost instantly caused cancer cells to die. Researchers discovered that oleocanthal caused cancer cells to die almost immediately. This is in contrast to the 16-24 hour time required to cause programmed cell death (also known as apoptosis span> ).

Many studies have shown that oleocanthal may interfere with the development and progression of cancer. However, it is not known if these effects can be independent or if they are linked to an upstream cause.

It is possible that there is an upstream phenomenon, which may be a book phenomenon, that requires clarification. We are opening the lysosome inside the cell with oleocanthal and releasing poisonous chemicals to kill it.

David Foster and Onica LeGendre examined breast, prostate and pancreatic cell types. They found that LMP could kill them but not three types of healthy non-cancerous cell.

These studies showed that Extra Virgin Olive Oil is anti-inflammatory and has antioxidant properties. These studies also demonstrated the potential to transform diets rich in olive oil such as the Mediterranean diet into exceptional health.

Heart disease: Risks

Incidence of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease

It is a trusted method for keeping hunger pangs under control, as well as helping with overall body health, maintenance, and wellness.

A 2013 study by the German Research Center for Food Chemistry found that simply smelling Extra virgin Olive Oil can increase your feelings of fullness. When an aromatic extract was added to food, it decreased the calories and increased blood sugar reactions.

Olive oil is great for pain relief

Monell Chemical Senses Center found that Ibuprofen as well as Extra Virgin Olive Oil both have similar anti-inflammatory properties. However, the two substances are completely different. Their polyphenols, a type of antioxidant, act on the same receptor at the back of your throat. This is why some people feel a tickling sensation when they swallow them.

The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Koroneiki variety has the highest quotient polyphenols. This makes it a great choice for external relief and beauty treatments on skin, hair and scalp.

Extra virgin olive oil may reduce the risk of accidental carcinogens

Extra Virgin Olive Oils has a smoke point of around 400 degrees. This is much higher than the smoke points of other popular cooking oils like canola (200°), corn oil (320°), and non-virgin olive oil (320°).

According to the Cleveland Clinic: Heating oil above its smokepoint (the temperature at which oil begins to smoke) can cause toxic fumes and other harmful free radicals. This is what we want to stop.

One rule of thumb is that the more refined oil has the smoke point higher.

Get A Better Understanding Of ‘True’ Balsamic Vinegar

Get A Better Understanding Of ‘True’ Balsamic Vinegar

November 24, 2021

The authentic Balsamic Vinegar, also known as 'True', is an artisan product that hails from Modena in Emilia Romagna. It is made with grape juice, which is then simmered and allowed to ferment for at least 12 years.

After this, it is matured in barrels that are gradually decreasing in size. These barrels can be made from different woods to impart the various flavours. It is dark, sweet and syrupy and can be used for a while.

The real thing will also be marked with 'tradizionale’ and/or DOC, and it will be more expensive. The less expensive, but still industrially produced 'aceto balsamico de Modena' can be purchased. It uses both vinegar and grape must, but it's not as strong as the original.

Balsamic Vinegar is Available

Always search for the term tradizionale/DOC and aceto balsamico de Modena to find authentic Balsamic Vinegar. Most affordable Balsamic Vinegars will masquerade as one of the above. They will have been flavoured and coloured with caramel, which is fine for dressings and glazes but will lack the authentic intensity of flavor.

Storing Balsamic Vinegar

We recommend that your Balsamic Vinegar be stored in a dark, cool cupboard.

Balsamic Vinegar: Cooking Ideas

Just a few drops Balsamic Vinegar can be added to ripe strawberries, well-aged slices of parmesan cheese, or very good vanilla ice cream.

Apply aceto Balsamico di Modena balsamic Vinegar to roast chicken breasts or duck breasts.
